Class 1 Newsletter
The end of the year is racing to greet us, or so it seems in Class 1.
The highlight of this week is our Class Camp, on Friday night at Bundagen. We are hoping the weather and tides are kind to us so that we can all have a safe and happy time.
Swimming lessons are going very well (we can all swim!) and so is circus. We are very sad to hear of Todd’s accident and wish him and his family well.
As I write my end of year reports and look back over the year I feel very proud and pleased with what the children have achieved. Class 1 is a huge time of transition and adjustment and the children have risen to the challenge. They move on to Class 2 feeling they understand the primary school, know the names of all the teachers and children, and can write, work number magic and begin to read.
Our Class Play “The Shepherd’s Flute” is going full steam ahead. Parents and friends are invited to come and watch it on Friday 11th Dec at 11.30 am.
This is a very social time of the year so I am sure we will see each other often. Thank you to the Class 1 parents who are trying their hand at Breezeway, mostly all for the first time.
Warm wishes,
Margie
